Premium Services
Premium Services refer to paid features, subscriptions, or additional services offered by the Company.

You should only add individuals whom you trust and who reasonably expect to receive emergency notifications from you.
By adding an Emergency Contact, you confirm that you have the authority to provide their contact information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
8. Location Information
Location information plays an important role in enabling emergency response features.
Current Location
When you open the App, your device's current location may be accessed to support location-based emergency Services and to verify that location services are available.
Active SOS
If you activate an SOS, the App continuously updates and shares your live location with your selected Emergency Contacts until the SOS is ended or resolved.
This enables your trusted contacts to locate and assist you as quickly as possible.
Outside Active SOS
Except as described above, the App does not continuously monitor or track your location in the background.
Location Services can be controlled through your device settings. However, disabling location permissions may limit or prevent certain emergency features from functioning correctly.
9. Device & Technical Information
To maintain security, improve reliability, and deliver notifications, we automatically collect limited technical information about your device.
This may include:

Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token
App version

1st Alert does not request permission to access your device's contact list. Instead, you manually add the name, phone number, and relationship of your chosen Emergency Contacts. Only the information you voluntarily enter is stored and used to provide emergency communication features.

Microphone
To support emergency conference calls and voice communication during active emergencies.
The microphone is not accessed unless required for a feature initiated by you.
Camera (Optional)
If enabled in future versions, the camera may be used for:

The App accesses your camera only with your permission.
Storage / Photos (Optional)

When an SOS is activated, the App may:

Notify your selected Emergency Contacts.
Notify your preferred ambulance contact.
Share your stored emergency medical information.
Initiate emergency conference calls.
Deliver notifications using available communication channels, including push notifications, SMS, voice calls, or other supported technologies.
These actions are performed solely to help facilitate emergency communication and assistance.
The Company does not independently contact emergency responders, hospitals, or government authorities unless such functionality is explicitly offered and initiated through the Services.
Availability of Emergency Services
Emergency features depend upon several external factors, including but not limited to:
Internet connectivity.
Mobile network availability.
GPS signal availability.
Device permissions.
Battery level.
Operating system limitations.
Third-party communication providers.
Recipient device availability.
Accordingly, the Company cannot guarantee that emergency alerts, calls, messages, or notifications will always be delivered successfully or received immediately.
Users should not rely solely on the App in life-threatening situations and should contact local emergency services directly whenever possible.
13. Consent & Legal Basis
